Dr. Amber Manfree is a Geographer. Her specialties are spatial analysis, cartography, and natural resources management. Her knowledge of landscape change informs her graphic design and allows her to communicate science in insightful ways.

Dr. Manfree’s work has appeared in books, research articles, magazines, professional presentations, and as supporting documentation in court cases. Her award winning dissertation features original maps and animations of fish catches across 35 years of the Suisun Marsh Fish and Invertebrate Study (UC Davis, 2014).

She has been working with GIS software since 2004 and has extensive experience with field research in California wetlands and waterways.
